We have introduced a new optical coating process for displays up to 15.6 inches, blocking infrared (IR) and ultraviolet (UV) rays while enhancing visible light transmittance.
This improves display performance and extends the lifespan of screens and optical components.
Key benefits:
-
Reduces heat and material aging
-
Increases brightness and image clarity
-
Provides comfortable viewing in sunlight or long-term use
Applications: high-end laptops, tablets, industrial and medical displays, AR/VR headsets, and automotive screens.
This coating meets the growing demands for optical performance and protection, offering a reliable solution for current devices and new possibilities for future smart displays.
1. Visible Light Transmittance
Wavelength Range: 425–675 nm (Visible Light Range)
The results table below shows Mean T = 94.45%, meaning almost all visible light is transmitted, indicating very high transmittance.
Graphic Rendering: The red line remains at approximately 90–95% between 425–675 nm, indicating almost no loss of light in the visible light region, resulting in very clear visual effects.
2. Infrared Light Blocking
Wavelength Range: 750–1150 nm (Near Infrared Region)
The table shows Mean T = 0.24%, almost completely blocking infrared light.
Graphic Rendering: Transmittance drops to almost zero between 750–1150 nm, indicating that the coating has an extremely strong infrared blocking effect, effectively reducing infrared heat radiation and equipment overheating.
3. UV Blocking
Wavelength < 400 nm (UV Region)
The transmittance of 200–400 nm in the figure is almost zero, indicating that UV rays are almost completely blocked, protecting downstream electronic components and display materials from UV damage.
4. Summary of Spectral Characteristics
High visible light transmittance (94.45%) → Bright and clear visual effects
Blocking UV rays (<400 nm) and near-infrared rays (750–1150 nm) → Radiation protection, heat protection, and protection against material aging
The coating properties are ideal for devices requiring optical protection and high transmittance, such as laptops, tablets, touch screens, industrial displays, and AR/VR screens.
